Munay-Ki & Peru!

I first heard of the Munay-Ki on a trip to South America when I was deep in the mountains (Apus) of the Sacred Valley, Peru - The Munay-ki is a calling, a knowing, a sensing of when you are ready to connect deeper within yourself drawing on the knowledge of your Ancestors, the elders, the Wisdomkeepers 

It's when you feel a stronger connection with Mother Earth, the mountains, rivers and nature 

Over the three days you will receive the Rites in Sacred Ceremony

These initiations will be received as energetic transmissions into your chakras - a powerful, yet gentle process using Meditation & Sound and Art Therapy

About Us 

Karen and Kate are dynamic-duo who are passionate about sharing these Initiations, rituals and ceremonies from Peru!  Karen has a wealth of experience and has been teaching the Rites for over 7 years now! She has journeyed many times to Peru, leading group trips, including the long-awaited trip of 2023! Karen received Shamanic Initiations deep in the heart of the Andes and this wisdom she wishes to share with you!   

 Kate received the Rites from Karen and has continued her Shamanic studies with Karen. She embarked on a spiritual pilgrimage to Peru in 2023, with the intention to experience the culture and roots of these Shamanic Practices. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge and experience in Shamanism, and the plant medicine of Cacao, through her private sessions and many group events.  We would love for you to join us and immerse yourself in a truly AUTHENTIC LIFE ALTERING EXPERIENCE!

Karen has been facilitating the Munay-Ki Rites/ Rite of the Womb Ceremony for over 8 years now and  has journeyed to Peru many times receiving Shamanic Initiations from the Qu'eros Shamans of Peru.  She brings over 25 years experience working in the Health & Wellness industry and has held regular Meditation Groups, Shamanic Retreats and Events on the Sunshine Coast for over a decade now. 

SPIRIT OF PERU RETREAT

Karen is also the founder of Spirit of Peru Retreat,  leading tour groups on journeys to this mystical land. After working with Master Shamans there for many years, she now passes on these teachings to you, including past life clearing, cutting cords and ties, karmic releasing, initiations and sacred ceremonies.

Kate Maryam 

MUNAY-KI RITES FACILITATOR & MENTOR

Kate is a Lightworker, multi-modality Energy Intuitive, Feminine Embodiment Mentor, Teacher, Spiritual & Soul Mentor, and Sacred Space Holder. Her path and purpose in life is to guide others on their inner journey to back to their true essence, their divine nature, their sacred self.

Kate has a passion for empowering others with the tools and strategies needed to live a full of love, connection and courage, and through strengthening their relationship with their own inner voice and wisdom. She believes in the powerful healing properties of the sun, the moon and our natural surrounds.

Kate is the visionary and creator behind Moon & Tide Gatherings, a series of sacred women’s gatherings held regularly on the Sunshine Coast. Her private sessions include Reiki & Shamanic-based Energy Therapy, House & Land Clearings, Channelled Angel Readings, Spiritual Mentoring, Feminine Embodiment Mentoring and Bespoke Ceremonies & Blessingways.

ARTIST & INTUITIVE ART THERAPIST

Hello my name is Katy-lea, I create magic in the form of art & creativity.

All of us are on our own unique journey & my journey with art began at a very early age and in many forms. After recently studying holistic creative art therapy, I was presented with a beautiful opportunity to re-connect to my inner artist and learn emotional expression through my creations. It taught me to surrender attachments & judgement not only to aesthetic outcomes, but to all areas of my world.

Expressing myself through the form of art allowed me find my own version of meditation – a space where I could let go, be present and flow from the heart.

Inspired by the ocean, the earth and the magical universe that surrounds us, my art is an expression of the soul and the things that light up my world. These flowing watercolour creations evoke connections to the divine feminine and are designed to fill you with love, light and wonder for the beautiful, natural world that surrounds us.

My hope is to inspire you to expand and re-shape your view on art, so you too can create with magical freedom.
